The sermon-to-week method
The sermon-to-week method is hearing, naming, carrying, practicing, reviewing. It keeps the sermon as the source while turning it into concrete discipleship moments for the week.
Hearing means naming the passage and main burden of the sermon. Naming means stating the core truth plainly. Carrying means choosing where that truth will meet real life. Practicing means turning it into a question, prayer, lesson, discussion, or action. Reviewing means checking Scripture, doctrine, tone, age fit, and pastoral sensitivity.
