Terms of Service.

By using Ponder you agree to these terms. Ponder is a product of FlockConnect LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. Last updated: 2026-05-26.

Who can use Ponder

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enter into these Terms. Ponder is for adults discipling themselves and the children in their care. Use by anyone under 13 is prohibited.

What Ponder is

Ponder turns sermons you provide into discipleship content for parents, small group leaders, kids-ministry teachers, youth leaders, and individuals. Bible quotation, translation attribution, and theological framing are generated by AI and reviewed against the guardrails described in the Help center. You are responsible for your own theological judgment about what you read with your family, group, or class. Ponder is not pastoral, legal, medical, financial, counseling, or other professional advice. You assume the risk of reviewing, editing, using, teaching, sharing, or relying on generated outputs.

Your content stays yours

Sermons you paste, upload, or fetch via URL belong to whoever owns them under copyright (your church, the preacher, the platform that hosts the recording). You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide. You are responsible for obtaining all permissions, licenses, releases, and consents needed for the sermons, recordings, transcripts, names, images, personal information, and other materials you submit or use.

You grant FlockConnect LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transcribe, process, and store the content you submit for the sole purpose of providing Ponder to you. We do not republish your sermons or your generated outputs. If you generated content under a Church-tier seat, your pastor’s account can see the generation summary but cannot republish it on your behalf. You are solely responsible for any content you submit, any personal information you include, and any generated output you choose to teach, print, email, edit, share, or otherwise use. The license terminates when you delete your account.

Scripture and translation

Scripture quoted in generated content uses the translation you selected in your settings. Each output that quotes Scripture includes the publisher attribution required by the translation rightsholder. We cap Scripture quotation at 25 verses per generation per translation, well within standard fair-use allowances. If you spot a quotation issue, email support@flockconnect.com and we’ll correct it.

Free tier and subscriptions

The free tier includes two generations per calendar month. Paid tiers (Individual, Church) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until cancelled. You will be charged through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account page or via the Stripe Billing Portal. We design cancellation to be at least as easy to find as signup. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access through that date.

Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@flockconnect.com and we’ll work it out.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Ponder to:

• Misrepresent a preacher’s words, attack other Christians, or produce material contrary to historic Christian doctrine.
• Upload content you don’t have the right to use, or content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
• Upload illegal content, harassing material, or material intended to harm any individual.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise access Ponder by automated means beyond standard browser use; reverse-engineer the service; or attempt to extract our system prompts.
• Resell Ponder’s generated outputs as a standalone product or service.
• Create multiple accounts to evade the free-tier limit or any other service constraint.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the system or violate these terms.

Copyright infringement (DMCA)

If you believe content on Ponder infringes your copyright, send a DMCA-compliant notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include: (a) an electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the rightsholder; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (c) the URL or other location of the infringing material on Ponder; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorized by the rightsholder or the law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you’re authorized to act. We will remove material we determine in good faith to be infringing and may suspend repeat infringers.

No warranty for theological accuracy

Generation is AI-assisted. We work hard to keep outputs faithful to the source sermon and to historic Christian teaching, but we cannot guarantee perfection. Treat every output as an AI-assisted first draft, not as authoritative pastoral teaching. You are responsible for reviewing scripture references, quotations, theological statements, age suitability, and practical counsel before relying on or sharing an output.

Warranty disclaimer

Ponder is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlockConnect LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlockConnect LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, ministry outcomes, theological decisions, reliance on generated outputs, service interruptions, third-party services, unauthorized access outside our reasonable control, or content submitted or used by you or another user.

FlockConnect LLC is not responsible for how you or anyone else uses, edits, distributes, teaches, prints, emails, republishes, or relies on sermons, transcripts, generated outputs, PDFs, or email summaries from Ponder. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Third-party services

Ponder depends on third-party services including Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Google Cloud (Vertex AI), Anthropic, ElevenLabs, PostHog, Sentry, YouTube, and Bible reference services.FlockConnect LLC is not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages, data practices, pricing changes, policy changes, or availability.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlockConnect LLC from claims arising from (a) content you submit to Ponder that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other third-party rights, (b) your editing, teaching, printing, emailing, publishing, distribution, or other downstream use of generated outputs, (c) your use, distribution, or reliance on generated outputs, (d) your violation of these terms, and (e) your violation of any law in connection with your use of Ponder.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Ponder shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes

We’ll email everyone with an active subscription before any material changes to these terms take effect.
