Lead with the main point, not the craft. Use the activity to reinforce the sermon truth, keep instructions concrete, and leave time for prayer in kid-language.
Use it well
- Gather every material before class, including extras for new children or broken supplies.
- Practice the story script and memory verse motion once out loud before children arrive.
- Cut or simplify anything that distracts from the sermon truth or the passage.
