Choose the right audience by naming the real setting where the sermon needs to be carried this week.
Use the audience, not the buyer
A pastor using Ponder personally usually chooses Individual or Parent. Pastor is a buyer persona, not a separate output type.
Do not collapse the outputs
Parent is for home discipleship. Children's Educator is for a group classroom. Group Leader is for adult discussion. Youth Educator is for teens. Individual is for personal devotion.
Use it well
- Start with the real room or relationship, then pick the output that matches it.
- Use Parent for home discipleship and Children's Educator for a classroom, even when the same adult could be doing both.
- Use Individual for your own walk with Christ, including when you are a pastor or ministry leader using Ponder privately.
The best audience choice keeps the sermon close to the people in front of you instead of turning Ponder into a generic content generator.
