Ask whether the tool starts before or after the pulpit
Many AI tools for churches compete on sermon preparation, clip cutting, slide decks, and social posts. Those categories can be useful for other vendors, but they are not Ponder's lane. After-the-sermon tools should begin with a sermon that already exists and help people carry it into the week.
If a product promises to write the next sermon for you, it is sermon prep. If it promises to push auto-generated devotionals to the whole congregation without request, it is pastor-push distribution. Ponder refuses both. It is pull-based sermon discipleship for real audiences.
